摘要：
In recent years, the development of new media has brought favorable opportunities to the means of ideological and political education, colleges and universities should attach importance to the advantages and conveniences brought by it. Based on this, first of all, the characteristics of new media were outlined in this study, and the current situation of the use of new media in contemporary ideological and political education in Colleges and universities was analyzed by taking micro-blog as an example;then the opportunities and challenges that the current new media environment brings to the ideological and political work were studied;finally, the methods and means for improving the efficiency of ideological and political education were put forward. While paying close attention to the negative impact of the new media environment on ideological and political education, colleges and universities should also take effective measures to do ideological and political work well, so as to form a good state of development.
