Films have become important in intercultural communication in recent years.As an important way ofcultural exchange.the film title translation plays an important role in our daily life.A fascinating film title will attractviewers to watch,but a great deal of discrepancy exists about films title translations.It can be found that film titles havedifferent translations.This article studies the application of communicative translation theory to film title translation andargues that film title translation follows certain rules,and many cultural and historical factors should be taken into account.
